RISE - USER CENTRED DESIGN

brief1

BRIEF

70% of the UK is classed as overweight and 5.1 billion is spent on obesity each year at the NHS. The task was to help decrease obesity rates for the masses.

RESULT

Self sustainable, government funded free outdoor gyms. The gyms are completely self sustainable, using minimal energy through solar power and energy producing gym machinery. Any left over energy will be put back into the power grid to produce money to employ a local trainer once a week to help give diet plans and training advice to locals. Rise helps to provide free access to gym equipment all over the UK. This helps to tackle major obesity rates in the country which therefore will take a major stress of the NHS.
